The training showed us how essential a project like Fair Coaching is in our area. We found that there is a serious lack of training on the topics covered and all participants gave positive feedback, with a request for more. Some of the athletes also brought their personal experience of the need for Fair Coaching and shared how inappropriate behaviours we talked about are present in today’s sporting world.
Lecturers for the two days were Luisa Rizzitelli, president of Assist – Associazione Nazionale Atlete, the bi-Olympic Antonella Bellutti and the psychologist Francesca Masserdotti, national contact person for Assist of the SAVE service against harassment and abuse.
