Kicking off next Monday is the Multiplier Sport Event organized by project partner Fondation Alice Milliat.
The conference will focus on the issue of gender discrimination in sport and its management, as well as the impact of such discrimination on the practices and well-being of sportsmen and women.
The event will take place on January 10, 2022 at IRIS from 1.15pm to 5pm.
On the agenda for the afternoon: presentation of the project, what has been achieved, and the next steps to be taken. Finally, the floor will be given to experts with different experiences and points of view on these themes.
Speakers include :
– Estelle E. Brun (IRIS), who will take a macro viewpoint to talk about socialization and the construction of gendered discrimination in sport
– Béatrice Barbusse, who will talk about the multiple realities of sexism in sport, with a particular focus on female coaches (including female managers), including feedback on her work at the FFHB.
– Eva Jacomet (Sport et Citoyenneté, European think-tank in the field of sport) who will talk about the feminization of sport-related professions and the “Métiers pluri’Elles” initiative.
– Emmanuel Rouquette (Play International), who will talk about the “Playdagogie”, “Pratique en mixité” and “Posture de l’encadrant” projects set up by Play International.
